Established in 2008, Kai’s first salon opened in Champlin. The salon grew to include a full spa in 2011. Kai was honored as a Top 200 Salon in the US by Salon Today in 2014 with awards in the categories of growth, retention and referral programs.

A well known, premier provider of hair, skin, nail and spa services in the northern suburbs, Kai continues to grow. In line with Kai’s mission, we are dedicated to giving back to the local community and beyond. Kai is an Aveda concept salon, using Aveda products in all of our services and offering the complete product line for retail.

As part of our mission, giving back is very important to us. We have selected organizations to support that are very near and dear to our hearts.


Cancellation Policy:

A 24 hour cancellation notice of your appointment is required. Failure to do so may result in a 50% charge of your service price. We allow a one-time grace as we understand things may come up. Any guest with a repeat history of last minute cancellations or no shows will require a credit card on file before booking their next appointment.

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation to ensure a complete and relaxing experience.

Arriving late for your reservation may require us to shorten the length of your service or reschedule your appointment. If you are running late for your appointment, please call us and let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.


We will gladly accept returns of un-opened or minimally used products within 14 days of the purchase date for an exchange or in-store credit. We cannot accept make-up returns. Gift cards are non-refundable.

Wedding Parties:

To ensure your appointment reservation a $150 deposit is required when booking your appointments along with a credit card number. We require 72 hour notice to cancel all appointments for a full refund. Cancellation after 72 hours will be refunded 50% of the total. There will be no refunds on services after they are completed.

Our Guarantee:

We do not offer refunds on services completed. If you are not completely satisfied with your service experience, please let us know. We offer a 2 week period for any color adjustments and 1 week for haircuts.
