My name is Michelle Aalbers, Registered Thai Therapist, (200) Registered Yoga Teacher, and owner of Synchrony next door in Brooklyn Park. Have you ever heard of Thai yoga bodywork? I hadn’t either until 4 years ago. It’s hard to describe the experience. I won’t search for words. Instead I invite you to come to the mat and see what it’s all about. Here is what one of my clients had to say after a session.
“Thai yoga bodywork is stress release. It is tranquility. It is energizing and relaxing all at the same time. It seems too good to be true because as a client allIhavetodoisshowup. Iam treated like royalty in a comfortable environment with pleasing smells, relaxing music and a practitioner ready to work very hard to make sure my body is functioning the very best that it can.
I relax while Michelle releases physical and emotional stress and discomfort. She stretches my body in ways I could never achieve on my own. I feel muscles tighten and relax in places I didn’t realize I was carrying stress. She works with my energy flow and creates balance. She brings harmony to every part of my body.
Thai yoga bodywork heals me and focuses my mind on what is important. I feel rejuvenated body and soul. I feel spiritually connected and physically at peace.
I have struggled with migraines and severe tension headaches for years. In seeking relief I have worked with physical therapists, nutritionists and massage therapists. The most effective treatment by far has been working with Michelle doing TYB. Tension that I carry in my neck and back have been relieved best by a combination of TYB stretches and energy work. Even the final meditative part of the session seems to remove the tension internally, which manifests itself in pain relief physically.
The best way to understand the benefits of TYB is to go to a session. You’ll feel lighter, more in tune with your body and will feel relief in muscles you’ve been neglecting. The results are different than any other exercise, stretching, massage or treatment you may have previously tried.”
Synchrony offers Thai yoga bodywork, TYB Partner Workshops, yoga classes, and other classes and wellness workshops. Let’s move some energy, melt tension, relieve stress and rejuvenate.Hope to see you on the mat soon!
