Our mission is to create a unique environment where there is a connection between artistry, beauty and humanity. We strive for individuality and creativity in our work, and let everyday influences inspire us. We are a haven for learning and teaching, not only ourselves, but our guests and community.
Established in 2008, Kai’s first salon opened in Champlin. The salon grew to include a full spa in 2011. Kai was honored as a Top 200 Salon in the US by Salon Today in 2014 with awards in the categories of growth, retention and referral programs.
A well known, premier provider of hair, skin, nail and spa services in the northern suburbs, Kai continues to grow, and in July of 2014 opened a second salon in the north loop area of Minneapolis. In line with Kai’s mission, we are dedicated to giving back to the local community and beyond. Kai is an Aveda concept salon, using Aveda products in all of our services and offering the complete product line for retail.
It was a wonderful appointment. I got to talk with the massage therapist and got a free 5 min massage then I turned it into a 30 min massage. It was an enjoyable evening at the spa.
It was two days before an important conference and trip. I had to make a change in my appointment time. Kim was able to fit this into her busy schedule and help me look my best for the conference. Thanks for being so accommodating!
I love this salon. Everyone is nice and friendly. My hair always looks great no matter who does it.
Thanks again Kim for working your magic. As always, you listen, provide feedback, and ultimately know exactly what needs to be done. And you do it! I truly appreciate you and how much better I feel after my hair is done. Happy feet too!
I had a great experience at Kai the other day. Professional, friendly and upbeat staff…from receptionist to stylist to spa’s spray tan artist all were very pleasant. Love my haircut from Angie too!!! Thanks Kai.
As part of our mission, giving back is very important to us. We have selected organizations to support that are very near and dear to our hearts.
Smile Network International is a non-profit humanitarian organization, which provides life-altering surgeries and related health care services to impoverished children and adults in developing nations. In the space of 45 minutes and for just $500, a life is changed with dignity and hope restored.
Kai owners, Laura & Adam Pardo, do regular mission trips with the Smile Network.
